One of the perks of being a magazine editor is getting to meet famous people. Here’s a shot of Kurtwood Smith (Red Forman from That 70s Show!) and Omar Epps (House) during the promotional tour for their new show, Resurrection.

On a side note, I got Kurtwood Smith to call my wife a “dumbass” on digital video, hahaha! Here’s the link.

Old article, but I just found it now thanks to Bonsai Fojas (who makes excellent fascinators).

The folks at LSI were able to get the fantasy writer Neil Gaiman to shoot photos using an LC-A+. Follow the link to see his shots and the accompanying interview.

Now I’ve met Neil Gaiman maybe three times already – an achievement since I live nowhere near Minneapolis where he’s based. I’ve been able to interview him twice. I’ve also been able to shoot him using my Nishika N8000 3D camera, but I’ve yet to finish the roll. Gimme a few weeks to post a 3D photo of the Dream King himself.

Ever since Long Way Round, I’ve been a Charley Boorman fanboy, following his travel and adventure exploits in Race to Dakar, Long Way Down and By Any Means. A few weeks ago I was able to meet him in person at a UNICEF press conference during the Philippine leg of season two of By Any Means.

I couldn’t very well let the opportunity to photograph him just slip away, so I brought some cameras, including the Nishika N8000, to shoot him with.  He is literally the first subject I used the Nishika on and I am happy with the results.
